先婚后友 Wedding Daze review by James Christopher

Against extraordinary odds Michael Ian Black’s romantic spoof Wedding Daze drew chuckles from critics at the press screening who will doubtless wake up tomorrow and shriek: “What on earth was I thinking?”

This is American Pie country. Anderson (Jason Biggs) shocks his fiancée when he proposes to her in a formal restaurant while wearing a pair of fluffy wings, a tight pair of red knickers and nothing else. A depressing year later – almost for the sheer hell of it – he proposes to a total stranger (Isla Fisher) in a diner. She promptly agrees. The premise is frankly terrible. But the inlaws are marvellous grotesques.
